What welding codes and standards are followed for pressure piping?
All our pressure pipelines are designed, fabricated, and tested in accordance with ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) and ASME B31.1 (Power Piping). Our welders hold certifications for 6G positions, qualified under ASME Section IX guidelines.
How do you guarantee material grade authenticity?
Every delivery of pipes, fittings, flanges, and valves is accompanied by Mill Test Certificates (MTC) conforming to EN 10204 3.1. We also use hand-held PMI (Positive Material Identification) guns on site to double-check chromium-nickel composition before welding.
What is the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel for local projects?
SS 304 is suitable for indoor applications and general non-corrosive utilities. However, for outdoor projects near coastal areas in Qatar (such as West Bay or Lusail) or for F&B processing contact, we require Grade 316/316L, which includes Molybdenum to resist chloride pitting caused by high humidity and atmospheric salinity.
